Guluji World Percussion Ensemble — Bringing the Sound of the World to Penghu’s Classrooms
目錄
HDRE is truly honored to support the Guluji World Percussion Ensemble as they bring global music to students across Penghu.
Stepping into local elementary and junior high schools, the ensemble filled classrooms with the rhythms of Taiwanese Indigenous cultures, the heartbeat of Africa, the warmth of the Middle East, and the vibrant spirit of the Balkans.
Through lively performances and interactive teaching, music became a bridge—carrying different cultures into the palms and smiles of children.
For many students, this was their first time touching these instruments, feeling the vibration of a drum, or hearing rhythms from faraway places.
Familiar classrooms instantly transformed into joyful mini-stages—echoing with laughter, applause, and the pure excitement of discovery.
This world-music session did more than entertain.
It widened horizons.
It sparked curiosity.
And it planted the seeds of cultural understanding—allowing global voices to take root right here in Penghu.
HDRE believes that arts education can open doors that textbooks never could.
By supporting programs like this, we hope every child can grow with imagination, confidence, and a heart open to the world.
