In 2025, the global transition toward sustainable development and clean energy continued to accelerate. Enterprises today face not only challenges arising from market dynamics and technological innovation, but also the responsibility of creating long-term value for the environment and society while pursuing growth. HD Renewable Energy firmly believes that sustainability is not an optional addition to business operations, but a core driver of long-term corporate development. Since our establishment, we have expanded from solar photovoltaic (PV) project development into a diversified portfolio of energy services, including renewable energy trading, energy storage applications, smart energy management, and electric vehicle charging solutions.
Through these efforts, we continue to build a comprehensive smart energy ecosystem and advance steadily toward our vision of making green energy accessible to all.
Over the past year, amid the global net-zero transition, rapid changes in energy markets, and growing stakeholder expectations, we have continued to strengthen our sustainability governance framework. Climate change, nature-related issues, and risk management have been further integrated into our decision-making processes, while efforts to enhance disclosure quality and management transparency have reinforced sustainability as a fundamental pillar of our business operations.
Beyond promoting the energy transition, we remain committed to talent development, social engagement, and shared prosperity with local communities. Through initiatives in employee development, health promotion, rural outreach, and community investment, we extend our positive impact to a broader range of stakeholders. We believe that long-term competitiveness is measured not only by business performance but also by the ability to grow together with society.
In 2026, HD Renewable Energy will celebrate its tenth anniversary, marking an important milestone in our development journey. Ten years ago, we took our first steps driven by a vision for renewable energy. Today, HDRE has evolved into a green energy enterprise spanning power generation, energy storage, renewable energy retail, and smart energy services.
As we embark on a new chapter, we will continue to uphold our core values of integrity, professionalism, innovation, and kindness, further strengthen sustainability governance and energy resilience, and work hand in hand with employees, customers, suppliers, and community partners to create a cleaner, smarter, and more inclusive energy future.
Message from the General Manager
2025 marked another important year for HD Renewable Energy in advancing its smart energy strategy. Amid a rapidly evolving energy market and growing demand for corporate decarbonization, we continued to integrate renewable electricity, energy storage, energy management, and EV charging services into a comprehensive energy ecosystem. By evolving from an energy provider into a smart energy integration platform, we aim to help customers achieve low-carbon transformation while enhancing operational efficiency and energy resilience.
Over the past year, HD Renewable Energy further expanded its renewable electricity services through AI-powered forecasting, intelligent dispatching, and energy management platforms. Total renewable electricity wheeling volume exceeded 170 million kWh, with service locations surpassing 2,600. Our energy storage project in Hokkaido, Japan, commenced commercial operation, while our energy trading footprint expanded into both Japan and Australia. Meanwhile, our EV charging network continued to grow across Taiwan.
These accomplishments demonstrate our successful transition from project development to integrated energy services and our growing ability to extend energy management expertise to international markets. With the steady growth of charging services, energy storage applications, and energy trading businesses, HD Renewable Energy continues to move toward its goal of becoming a leading integrated energy service provider.
Alongside business growth, we remained committed to talent development, information security, and environmental management. In 2025, the Company completed the implementation of the ISO 50001 Energy Management System and continued to strengthen greenhouse gas management and energy efficiency initiatives. Through employee training, career development, and well-being programs, we strive to build a cohesive and growth-oriented workforce. We believe that long-term competitiveness can only be achieved by balancing talent development, environmental stewardship, and sound corporate governance.
Looking ahead, HD Renewable Energy will continue to leverage innovation as a key driver of growth while deepening its capabilities in smart energy, virtual power plants, energy storage dispatch, and energy trading. We will also actively pursue opportunities in domestic and international markets. As the Company celebrates its tenth anniversary in 2026, we view this milestone as the beginning of a new chapter.
Moving forward, we will continue to integrate energy, technology, and sustainability, creating greater value from every kilowatt-hour of renewable electricity and strengthening our role as a driving force in the energy transition for the decade ahead.
