Supporting Education in Remote Townships — The “Walking Taiwan” Learning Journey

目錄
HDRE is committed to supporting education in remote communities, walking alongside children as they explore the world step by step—both literally and figuratively.
For the past two years, we have supported Heshun Elementary School in Chiayi County through the “Walking Taiwan” experiential learning program, giving children the opportunity to understand their land with their own feet and broaden their horizons through real-world experience.
Because we believe that education should never be limited by geography.
2023|Their first journey beyond the main island — to Matsu
2024|A new chapter — traveling through the mountains and coastline of Hualien and Taitung
Under the guidance of teacher Ying-Hui Lin, this small school of just over 30 students has transformed learning into exploration. Through field study, writing reflection, and hands-on discovery, the children have regained confidence and strength—an environment so nurturing that it has produced two Presidential Education Award recipients.
We are deeply grateful for Mrs. Lin’s dedication and for the courage shown by every student at Heshun Elementary School.
HDRE will continue supporting long-term education sustainability, helping turn dreams into journeys that children can truly take.
