Kouhu Service Area

The Star Charger Kouhu Service Area station is located on Zhongzheng Road in Kouhu Township, Yunlin County, serving as a new charging point along Provincial Highway 61 (West Coast Expressway). Developed in collaboration with the Directorate General of Highways and FamilyMart, the station was commissioned in November 2024 alongside the Xinfeng Service Area location.

The site is equipped with four DC fast-charging connectors supporting both CCS1 and CCS2 standards, with a maximum charging capacity of 120 kW. Positioned within the rest area, the station is highly convenient for EV drivers traveling along the West Coast Expressway—allowing them to recharge while taking a break and accessing convenience store services and other on-site facilities.

Overall, the Kouhu Service Area station is an important addition to the charging network along Highway 61, closing gaps in coastal charging coverage and enhancing service quality and travel convenience at the rest area.
