Indoor White Shrimp Facility (Controlled-Environment Culture)

In 2024, construction of the indoor white shrimp cultivation facility—located on the northern section of the Dayun outdoor solar site and covering 1.78 hectares of fully reinforced concrete ponds—was completed. Under the sheltered greenhouse environment created by the solar panels, shrimp post-larvae were stocked in April 2025 at a density of 150 per square meter. Through large-scale automated feeding management, precise feed control, and technology-driven water-quality monitoring, the team is committed to producing white shrimp with superior coloration and robust body shape.

To compensate for the lack of natural soil nutrients and sunlight in indoor systems, the aquaculture team adopted a biofloc microbial cultivation approach. This technique enhances environmental safety, reduces pathogen risks, and supports healthier growth conditions. As a result, the juvenile shrimp grew into strong, 32-gram white shrimp within just 160 days—demonstrating an effective integration of solar infrastructure with environmentally responsible aquaculture practices.
