Lightsource bp

Star Trade has entered into a power-procurement agreement with Lightsource bp, purchasing renewable electricity generated from 115 MWp aquaculture co-generation projects located in Budai and Yizhu, Chiayi. The output is supplied in full to Star Trade’s corporate clients, providing a flexible and value-added procurement option within Taiwan’s renewable-energy market.

The sites deliver high annual generation, with capacity sufficient to meet the yearly electricity demand of tens of thousands of households. By combining Star Trade’s market experience and supply-management capabilities with Lightsource bp’s project standards, the partnership provides a consistent and dependable source of renewable electricity.

This cooperation strengthens Star Trade’s integrated offerings in renewable-energy procurement and power-market transactions. It also reinforces the company’s role as a reliable provider of green-power supply solutions for corporate customers operating in Taiwan’s evolving energy market.
