Human Rights Management Policy
Policy Commitment
Respect for human rights is one of HD Renewable Energy’s core values. In all business activities, the company adheres to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the UN Global Compact, the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, the ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work, as well as all applicable laws and regulations governing our operating locations. HD Renewable Energy has established and continuously updates its Human Rights Policy based on the principles of protection, respect, and remedy. In alignment with the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) Code of Conduct, we implement actions that reflect our strong commitment to human rights.
Applicability:
This policy applies to all business entities and subsidiaries of HD Renewable Energy, covering direct operations, products, and services. It also extends to stakeholders across the value chain—including employees, customers, suppliers, partners, and joint ventures. Building on HD Renewable Energy’s Human Rights Policy, we have also established a dedicated Supplier Code of Conduct and require strict adherence throughout the supply chain.
Policy Guidelines:
- Comply with all applicable laws and recognized international standards governing our operating locations.
- Regularly assess human rights risks and implement appropriate remediation measures.
- Provide an independent grievance mechanism to ensure timely investigation and action to mitigate adverse impacts on human rights.
- Continuously strengthen human rights protections for all employees and disclose related outcomes with transparency.
- Offer fair and reasonable compensation, working conditions, and a safe and healthy workplace.
- Ensure equal employment opportunities for all personnel and prohibit any form of discrimination.
- Prohibit the use of child labor and any form of forced labor.
- Provide channels and an environment for free expression of opinions, and respect employees’ right to freedom of association.
Grievance Mechanism and Whistleblower Protection
HD Renewable Energy is committed to protecting the human rights of employees and all stakeholders. We ensure that individuals have the right to report, file complaints, or raise concerns regarding any conduct that may constitute a human rights violation, and we require appropriate remediation for any confirmed violations.
- Individuals who identify potential violations of the Human Rights Policy may file a report through the grievance channels, either with their name or anonymously.
- Internal grievance channels include, but are not limited to, the HR mailbox and the employee grievance hotline.
- External stakeholders may submit reports via telephone, postal mail, or email.
- A review committee will be convened to conduct an investigation. If the investigation confirms a violation of human rights, HD Renewable Energy will take appropriate actions, including disciplinary measures against the offender, providing support and assistance to the affected individual, and implementing necessary policy or procedural improvements to prevent recurrence. The company will also ensure that the affected party receives appropriate and effective remedy or compensation to mitigate any adverse human rights impacts.
- All whistleblower identities and report details are kept strictly confidential. Appropriate protective measures are taken in accordance with applicable laws to safeguard the whistleblower’s personal data and privacy.
