Board and Committee Performance Assessment Framework

To advance corporate governance and enhance Board effectiveness, the Corporation has established a comprehensive Board and Committee Performance Assessment Framework, as formalized in the “Board Performance Evaluation Guidelines.”
Under this framework, an internal assessment is conducted annually, while an external independent assessment is commissioned every three years. All assessment outcomes must be finalized before the end of the first quarter of the subsequent year.

1. 2024 Assessment Results

The internal performance assessment of the Board and all functional committees for 2024 was completed in February 2025.
Assessment results ranged from 96.89 to 97.57, and the outcomes were presented to the Board on March 5, 2025.

2. 2025 External Evaluation

For 2025, the Corporation engaged the Taiwan Investor Relations Institute, an independent external institution with no business relationship with the Corporation, to conduct a comprehensive Board effectiveness assessment.

The external review covered the period from July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025, and evaluated the Board across five key dimensions, supplemented with on-site interviews and qualitative observations.

The overall evaluation results were reported to the Board in December 26, 2025.
