VPP Solution Overview
The Virtual Power Plant (VPP) solution integrates distributed energy resources—including solar PV, energy-storage systems, and other renewable and non-renewable assets—into a unified, flexible, and reliable operating portfolio. The objective is to combine these resources into a coordinated system capable of delivering stable and efficient power supply. Acting as an aggregator, Star Trade deploys VPP scheduling, market-operation tools, and forecasting systems to participate in the electricity markets of Taiwan, Japan, and Australia. Grid Support Services
Energy-storage systems participate in Taipower’s frequency regulation and reserve ancillary-services platform. In the day-ahead ancillary-services market, awards are determined through a capacity-based merit-order process, in which resources are cleared from the lowest to the highest bid until the required volume is met.
EMS (Energy Management System)
Our EMS is designed for practical deployment across diverse operating environments. It supports site-specific control logic, coordinates storage and generation assets, and maintains stable system operation under varying load and grid conditions.
Power Operations and Site Management
We provide operational support based on customer requirements, including platform operation and site maintenance. Services include bid preparation using forecasting tools, 24/7 site monitoring, and routine inspection and servicing of equipment.
