HD Renewable Energy Announces Change in Overseas Leadership

HD Renewable Energy today announced that Dr. Jeffrey Chen, Senior Vice President of HDRE and Chairman of HDRE Japan & Australia, has stepped down from his position due to health reasons, effective immediately.

Since joining the company in August 2024, Dr. Chen has made significant contributions to HDRE’s international expansion and strategic partnerships. The company extends its sincere gratitude for his leadership and dedication, and wishes him a full and speedy recovery.

HDRE’s overseas organization remains strong, supported by experienced teams across business development, engineering, asset management, commercial strategy, and data analytics. The Group’s global strategy continues unchanged, advancing toward its 2028 goal of 9.4 GW in combined solar and storage capacity while further expanding into emerging opportunities in international energy markets.
